TITLE: SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST II 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  

The School Psychologist works within an assigned Elementary, Middle, and/or High School building, and provides a variety of services, including special education evaluations, social skills and behavioral training and supports with students, counseling services, parent and teacher consultations, response to intervention implementation, and data analysis. The School Psychologist is directly responsible for the psychological assessment of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains utilizing problem-solving and standardized evaluations. The School Psychologist participates in Individual Education Plan (IEP) conferences and problem-solving meetings to design tiered systems of supports that maximize students’ social, emotional, and educational success.
