TITLE:   Occupational Therapist 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  

Under general supervision, the OT will work in cooperation with district staff, parents and students to serve as the specialist responsible for diagnostic and intervention services for students with occupational, fine motor and visual motor disorders that interfere with academic and functional skills. Provide quality school-based occupation therapy services, which includes but is not limited to assessment/evaluation, intervention/treatment, IEP planning and implementation, discharge planning, related documentation, and communication between teachers, teacher assistants, relater service providers, and families. 

 

Days of Work: 190 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

Reports to: Executive Director of Special Services and Therapy Services Facilitator. 

Supervises: Occupational Therapy Assistants
